Shannon Hoole

Shannon explores how different ideas and materials interact with an interest in the intersection between craft, gender, and fine art. They use domestic tools like cookie cutters to shape clay, like how domestic symbols shape their non-binary identity. Shannon received a Pat Hanley Creativity Award in 2017 and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons) from the University of Auckland in 2023.
